Browse Sequence


The browse sequence or browse path (sometimes called the cookie crumb trail) shows the levels of the catalog, the categories and sub-categories of items, through which you have passed to reach the desired item, like this:

Entire Catalog > Commodity > Category > Sub-category#1 >Sub-category#2 > etc.

For example:

Entire Catalog > Cleaning Equipment and Supplies > Janitorial equipment > Cleaning equipment > Cleaning pails or buckets > 6 GAL WASH TANK, etc.

All items in the lowermost (final) category, in the browse path, are displayed in a Results table below.

By default (before you begin browsing) this Results table contains a list of all the highest level commodities in your Buying Organization catalog.
