Browsing through the catalog is often the best way to locate an item if you know the type, but do not know the specific item, or the name of the item.

If you know a product name or part number, then you can search directly for that information in the catalog text.

Below the Tabs is a drop-down menu and text entry boxes used to set-up a catalog search, sort and filter the results. When starting to browsing, you do not need to set any of these parameters.

After you have completed your browse, and have a list of items in the Browse Catalog Results List, in the lower half of the screen, then you may want to sort or group the list of items before making your final selection.

By default, when the Search Catalog page is opened, the Browse Catalog Results List contains a list of all of the top level commodities in your catalog. For example: Cleaning Supplies, Office Supplies, and so on.

To start browsing, click the name of a commodity likely to contain the item you want to purchase.

For example, if you want a mop, click Cleaning Supplies.
